Mr. Dayton D. Albright, 89, of Jefferson, passed away on May 2, 2012 at Vindobono Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Violet Albright, who passed on January 29th of this year.

Born April 9, 1923 in Hardy County, WV, he was the son of the late Jacob C. and Hanna C. Albright. He worked as a crane operator at Frederick Iron and Steel until he retired after decades of service.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Albright was preceded in death by a daughter, Bertha Sweeney. He is survived byadaughter, Peggy Kauffman; a brother, Ernest Albright; seven grandchildren,April Kauffman,Crystal Cooper, Kourtney Harrell, Paula Sweeney, Andy Sweeney, and Phillip Sweeney; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 5th at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion at Resthaven. Floral tributes are welcome.
