John E. Baier, a well known young man of this city, died at 2:45 o'clock Sunday afternoon after an illness of seven months' duration with tuberculosis. He was born in this city August 8, 1886, and was twenly-four years of age. Deceassed was formerly the manager of D'Urbano's Italian band, and managed the Idea theater at Fond du Lac for a time.
Those surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Baier, 901 Seventh street; five sisters, Mrs. William G. Fenrich and the Misses Anna, Marie, Agnes, and Josephine Baier; and four brothers, Frank C., Joseph, and Charles Baier, all of this city, and Emil Baier of Detroit, Michigan.
Funeral services will be conducted at St. Vincent's church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, Rev. A. Wibbert officiating. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery.
