Adolph Baier, aged 76, died Monday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock at his home, 901 Seventh street, after a brief illness. He had been a resident of Oshkosh for forty years. Mr. Baier was employed as a wagonmaker by the A. Streich & Bros. company for twenty years, after which he worked for ten years at the plant of the Morgan company, retiring five years ago.
Deceased is survived hy one brother, Edward Baier of Austria; four sons, Frank, Joseph and Charles, all of Oshkosh, and Emil of Detroit; five daughters, Mrs. William Fenrich and the Misses Anna, Mary, Agnes and Josephine Baier, all of Oshkosh; and by twenty-seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Vincents church, Rev. Aloys Bastlan officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside. The pallbearers were Herman Baier, James Baier, Lawrence Baier, Edward Baier, Carl Fenrich and Roman Fenrich.
