Warren Norman, 98, of King's Grant Retirement Center in Martinsville, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2000 at King's Grant.
Born on Oct. 1, 1902, in Henry County, he was the son of James Martin Norman and Eliza Meadows Norman, both deceased. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie Foley Walton Norman in 1990.
He worked for the War Department during World War II and was the owner and operator of Triangle Service Station in Martinsville for a number of years prior to his retirement. He was a member of Calvary Christian Church.
A graveside service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Oakwood Cemetery. A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. at King's Grant Victory Chapel. Chaplain Suzanne Martin and Pastor Eldon Morgan will officiate.
