Polly B Miller, 98, of Miller's Merry Manor, formerly of Nappanee, died at 10:04 pm Sunday, Sept 28, 2008, in Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart.
She was born April 8, 1910, in Albion to Levi Edgar and Lavina Ellen (Bleile) Pippenger.
On Jan 10, 1930, she married Orley A Miller in Albion. He died July 28, 1993.
Mrs Miller is survived by five daughters, four sons, one son-in-law, 31 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren and one sister Carrie Seiss of Muncie.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Bone; one granddaughter; four sisters, Flossie Holderman, Daisy Haney, Ada Flory and Bessie Gordon; and three brothers, Leo, Nathan and Howard Pippenger.
Friends may call from 5-8 pm today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N Main St, Nappanee, and one hour prior to Thursday's 10:30 am funeral service at Nappanee Church of the Brethren. The Rev Byrl Shaver will officiate. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery.
Mrs Miller moved from Albion to Nappanee 67 years ago. She was a homemaker, member of Nappanee Church of the Brethren and had worked at Wegmiller's 5 & 10 Store.
Memorials may be given to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
