She lived in Greenwood, AR before moving to Oklahoma City in April 2005. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her husband, November 22, 1979; parents, William R. and Joe Edna (McCormick) Garner; brothers, William J.L. Garner, Roy T. Garner, Alex F. Garner; sisters, Janey Mae Simpson and Sara E. Garner. Helen is survived by one brother, Marvin E. Baldwin, Ft Smith, AR; sister, Jo Edna Garner, Greenwood, AR; daughter, Kimberley R. and husband, Andy Woods of Lawton, OK; six sons, Charles C. and wife, Donita Carrier of Wellston, OK, Dana W. and wife, Nancy Carrier of Springtown, TX, Clark B. Jr. and wife, Denise Carrier of Milwaukee, WI, Michael W. and wife, Bonnie Arnold of Tecumseh, OK, Jeffrey L. and wife, Patty Arnold of Harrah, OK, and Alan E. and wife, Tina Arnold of Oklahoma City; also 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
