He was born July 6, 1914 to the late Darrell and Jo Edna Baldwin.
He was a WWII Army Veteran and a retired plumber. He was a long time member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, Fort Smith, but in recent years was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Marvin was preceded in death by his first wife, Illian Baldwin.
He is survived by his wife Lydia, one daughter Sherry Barnard of Benton, AR., two sons Jack and Roger Baldwin both of Fort Smith, AR., one sister Jo Lampman of Greenwood, one step-daughter Ann Ramey, two steps sons Mack and David McKinley of Fort Smith, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with burial at The U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jeb and Michael Baldwin, Shawn and Brandon Barnard.
Officiating will be two of his grandsons, Shawn and Brandon Barnard.
