Daisy Mae Strain, age 93 of Harrodsburg, passed away Sunday morning November 23, 2104 at her residence. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 16, 1921 to Samuel Zike and Grace Mills Zike.

She was a graduate of Bloomington High School and spent her professional career at RCA during World War II.

Daisy leaves behind her son David Lee Strain and his wife Shelia of Harrodsburg; son Doug Strain and his wife Brenda of Harrodsburg; daughter Donna Cochran and her husband Dwight of Harrodsburg, and daughter Dolores Lukey and her husband Paul of Bloomington. Daisy was grandma to James D., David L., and Michael S. Strain, Norman Scott McKnight, Jennifer Strain Hardin, Kyleah and Kevin Cochran, and Kate and Ellen Lukey. Ten great grandchildren survive as well. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband David E. Strain.
