Neva M Allen

Neva M. Allen, age 76 of Brookfield, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Pershing Memorial Hospital. Neva was born at Marceline, Missouri on March 1, 1938 to Frederick Alexander and Katherine Grace (Passig) Still. She married Don Allen on October 14, 1958 and he survives her. Neva was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress at several area restaurants. She was an avid bingo player, flower and garden enthusiast, and KC Royals fan. She is survived by her husband Don Allen of the home in Brookfield, three sons, Dennis Allen and Wendy, Brookfield, Darrell Allen and friend Lisa Preece, Mendon, and Darren Allen, Brookfield, two daughters, Rita Hamilton, Brookfield, and Rosemary Duncan and Kelly, Centralia, two brothers Roy Still, Marceline, and Robert Still and Pat, Keytesville, four sisters, Shirley Hornsby, Roberta Ross, Lola Skinner and Judy West, all of Marceline, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Kenneth, Ray, and Raymond, and four sisters, Rosemary Still, Dorothy Smith, Floy Stanfield, and Margaret Stanfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in the Rosehill Cemetery, Brookfield. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral home in Marceline.
