Mary Lou Sheaffer, 65, a former Lancaster County resident, died Thursday at the Pennsauken, N.J., home of her daughter after a long illness. A graduate of the former Mount Joy High School, she worked for Wilmington Trust Company as a receptionist from 1973 to 1989. Mrs. Sheaffer had formerly lived in Mount Joy and Elizabethtown. More recently she lived in Wilmington, Del., and Pennsauken. The daughter of the late William Ellis and Maude Ellis Frey, she was born in Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Sheaffer. She is survived by her daughter, Deanna Sheaffer Morris, Pennsauken, with whom she resided.
