Robert C. Sheaffer, 65, of Naamans Road, Brandywine Hundred, died Wednesday of heart failure in Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, where he was a patient. He previously was hospitalized in Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Mr. Sheafer was service manager at Remington Rand Corp. in Ohio and Philadelphia for 26 years, retiring in 1972. He then worked at Delaware Office Equipment, Wilmington, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose, Fox 596, Elizabethtown, Pa.; Masonic Lodge 703, Rocky River, Ohio, and Rock Manor Golf Club, Wilmington. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; a daughter, Deanna Sheaffer Morris of Pennsauken, N.J.; a sister, Marion S. Baughman of Bloomington, Ind.; a brother, John A. of Hyannis, Mass. Services and burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Heart Association, 4-C Trolley Square, Wilmington.
