Mom, passed away @4:51 am from naso-pharyngeal carcinoma at the age of 95. She lived a long and happy life. Her health had been very good except for total hip/ knee. She never suffered from the carcinoma until the last 2 days. She was a very strong -willed woman who out lived all her siblings and 2 half-siblings, her being the eldest. Mom is at peace now that she is with dad again.

Ruby was preceded in death by Elbert Kearney,her beloved husband of 57 yrs;mother,Pauline Todd;father, Hurstel Henry;step-mother, Georgia Young;brothers,Quentin,Linton Henry;sisters, Arphie Henry,Ada Pickens,Vernia Gibson; half-brothers,Fisher,Douglas Henry.Ruby is survived by son, Delana (Dee) Kearney,daughter, Mildred (Millie) Murphy;grandson, Brian Covington;half-sisters,Eunice Henry, Syble Stringfield,Velma Purser;half-brothers,Winfred, Ledford Henry;plus many neices, nephews.Ruby was a member for many years at West Haven Baptist Church.
