Vernia L.Gibson,68 died Friday at her home after a short illness. She was born in Scott County,Tenn.,and had lived in Muncie since 1952.Mrs.Gibson was member of Baptit Church,Co Operative,Ky.and Delco Battery Sympathy Club.Surviving are herf husband of 49 years,James Gibson; two sons,Roger and Janmes Gibson Jr. of Muncie;two daughters: Judy Strong and Mrs. Randy (Joan) Tomey both of Muncie.a brither, Linton Henry of Indiana; two sisters,Ruby Kearney,Knoxville,Ada Pickens of Huntington Beach,Calif;three half sisters, five half brothers;Seven grandchildren including Mrs. Stephen (Cindy)Dugan,Yorktown and Carolyn Strong,Muncie; three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother, siter, and a grandson.Services at 10am Wednesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams St. Chapel. Burial in Beech Gorve Cemetery.Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 pm. obituitary by family
