Georgia Hopkins Franklin, 86, of Forest Street, Martinsville, died Saturday, July 3, 1999, at her home.
She was born on April 30, 1913, in Henry County to the late Austin Morris Hopkins and the late Mary Susie Crews Hopkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Franklin in 1989; two sisters, Clara H. Angle and Rives Earles; and two brothers, the Rev. J. Elma Hopkins and Daniel Buford Hopkins.
She was a member of Wilson Street Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson Street Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Tommy Smith officiating and the Revs. Mark Ainsworth and James Angle assisting. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Services Chapel.
