Ann Adams, 92, of Wellshoro, formerly of Mehoopany and Tunkhannock, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, in Soldiers' and Sailors' Memorial Home, Wellsboro.
Funeral and committal services were held on Saturday, Jan. 3, from Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Catherine Parsons, pastor of Forkston United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment, Forkston Cemetery, Forkston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forkston United Methodist Church, RR #1 Box 7, Mehoopany, Pa. 18629.

Times Leader 01/02/2004 Ann Adams, Wellsboro, formerly of Mehoopany and Tunkhannock, died Wednesday at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Mansfield. She was the wife of the late Francis M. Adams. Born April 9, 1910, in Forkston Township, Wyoming County, daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Trowbridge Vaow, she worked as a seamstress at the Rowker Dress Co., Tunkhannock, before her retirement. She was a member of the Forkston United Methodist Church, the Forkston Grange and the Wyoming County Republican Committee, serving as a Republican committee woman in Mehoopany Township for many years. Surviving are a son, Eugene Abrams, Mansfield; a daughter, Lorraine McCaughey, Apopka, Fla.; a half-sister, Emma Kissinger, LaPorte; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Duane Abrams; two brothers, Fred and Francis Vaow, and two sisters, Prudence Kester and Arlene Jennings. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with services by the Rev. Catherine Parsons, pastor, Forkston United Methodist Church. Interment, Forkston Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, noon until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forkston United Methodist Church, RR 1, Box 7, Mehoopany, 18629.
