Freddie was the young son of Adam aka "Gene" and Odessa aka "Dessie" Reedy, his Washington Death cert incorrectly lists father's name as Alan instead of Adam. He died tragically in a horse and wagon accident at only six years of age while playing with other classmates at recess or before school in Fairfield. Apparently several children jumped on the wagon as it passed by on the street and when little Freddie jumped on he lost his balance and fell off, thus being run over. There is a found article published in the April 21, 1922 edition of the Spokane Daily Chronicle page 7 with a caption that reads, "Fairfield Boy Killed By Wagon", but only the caption is readable, the rest of the scanned article is damaged. You can only make out the name Fred Reedy and a smaller bit at the bottom appears to mention a funeral at a Presbyterian Church.

Per the physical image of his death certificate found via familysearch.org Fred was buried at what is there referred to as Valleyford Cemetery, which is alternately known as Wood Memorial Cemetery, Valleyford Cemetery or Cottonwood Cemetery. Thus he is confirmed buried in same cemetery as his parents.

In the photo, Fred is the youngest son with father "Gene's" hand on his shoulder. The photo was captioned on the back as being taken at the Runyon Family farm. It was likely taken about 1919, not long before Freddie's mothers March 1920 death.
