Harry Browder, Formerly of Columbia, Dies
Harry B. Browder, Sr., 54, of Long Beach, Cal., formerly of Columbia, died Wednesday in Lordsburg, N. M., after being in declining health for two years.

He was born in Columbia where he made his home on Fairfield Road, until a year ago when he moved to Long Beach. While here he was a member of Rosewood Baptist Church.

Mr. Browder is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Scott Browder; two sons, Harry Broder, Jr., Columbia, and Malcolm L. Browder, Long Beach; a stepson, John Wesley Dennis, Columbia; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Gertrude Snipes, Jacksonville, Fla.; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Ella Browder Carman, Columbia; a brother, Earl Browder, Columbia and five grandchildren.

Browder Funeral Set Tuesday
Funeral services for Harry B. Browder, Sr., 54, who died at Lordsbur, N. M., Wednesday, will be held Tuesday afternoon in Columbia.

Mr. Browder was born in Columbia and attended Rosewood Baptist Church. He formerly lived on Fairfield road, but moved to Long Beach, Calif., a year ago.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ella Scoot Browder; two sons, Hary B. Browder, Jr., of Columbia and Malcom L. Browder of Long Beach, Calif.; one step-son, John Wesley Dennis of Columbia; one step daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Snipes of Jacksonville; one brother, Earl Browder of Columbia; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Ella Browder Carman of Columbia; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the Talbert Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. William L. Fairclotn, pastor of Rosewood Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: L. O. Eargle, S. O. Mims, Jack Emlyn, Woodrow Bass, Johnnie Spires and Willie Smith.

The family will be at the residence of his son, Harry B. Browder Jr., at 4213 Mountain Drive.
