William E. Curtis, of 920 NW 22nd Ave., died Friday. Funeral will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at A. J. Rose and Son Mortuary, with interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Born in Osceola, Iowa, Sept. 14, 1878, he had lived in Oregon since 1939. He was a master baker and a 53-year member of IOOF.

Survivors include is widow Mary; three sons, Don V., Klamath Falls, James W., Rapid City, S.C., and Robert B., Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Claudine Claseman, Clinton, Iowa, Mrs. Willa Mortenson, Portland; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
