Active member of the LDS Church, having served in many auxiliaries of the church most recently having served as a Temple Ordinance Worker. Loved and took part in many hobbies.Survivors, wife Gertrude; children, Gary Lee Gale (Judy) and Julie Mae Cowley (Richard N.); stepchildren, P. Conway Geertsen (Carol), Betty Jean Harris and Paul C. Geertsen (Sharon); 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, George Troy Gale; mother-in-law, Millie Maude Allen.
Funeral services Saturday, May 11, 1996, 11 a.m. at the Hobble Creek Stake Center, 555 South 600 East, Springville, Utah. Friends and family may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Friday, 6-8 p.m. and also at the Stake Center on Saturday, 9-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
