Son of Hyrum Don Carlos Clark and Ann Eliza Porter

Married LuEmma Elizabeth Cox, 2 Oct 1908

AUBURN - Hyrum T. Clark, a young man of Auburn, was out duck hunting the day before Thanksgiving, and had hung a duck on a willow and was reaching for it, when his gun went off and the charge centered his heel. Blood-poisoning set in at an early stage, and very soon the case assumed a serious aspect.
His father and mother were sent for from Bountiful, Utah and attempt was made to get Dr Rich from Ogden, but as he was unable to come, Dr Dunto, his partner, came in. Dr Poynier of Montpelier was also called in. Drs Groom and west were already in attendance. When the doctors arrived from outside it was to late to do anything and the suffering man passed away.

The deceased was 26 years of age, and married and leaves one two year old girl. He was well and favorably known through the valley, and has held several responsible positions. He fulfilled a mission to the Southern States with honor.

His death is a sad blow to his family and his absence will be felt in the valley.
