Sholemo was a hairdresser and a sales representative for Redken Beauty Products. She traveled all over the states of Texas and Oklahoma. She was affectionately known by many young children as "BoBo." She was a member of the First Presbyerian Church of Mart.
Her hobbies included knitting, making felt Christmas ornaments, and other needlework. She loved birds and had an extensive ceramic red bird collection.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James; brother, Jack Gramling; sisters, Emma Louise Gramling, Monnie Irene Gramling, and Margaret Gramling.
Survivors include her sister, Zada Gramling Johnson, of Phoenix, Arizona; cousins, Bobbie Shields Newman, of Dallas, and James Shields, of Oklahoma.
