William Walker (called Walker) Parker was born in Newport, far Southwestern Clay County, Texas to Aaron Sumners Parker 1853-1918 and Sarah Ann "Sallie" Taylor 1857-1932. He was raised on the High Plains of Swisher/Randall Counties, Texas.
He married Esther Clearon Tedford on 15 September 1921 and they raised three daughters on their farm in Northeast Swisher County.
