A third-generation UC Berkeley graduate ('79), Jason was a licensed architect and US Navy Vietnam War veteran.
He grew up in Walnut Creek and after college married Darlene Schumacher, his devoted wife of more than 25 years.
Jason spent his working life as a project manager for construction companies and management firms on commercial projects in the Bay Area.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 20, at 2 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 415 El Camino Real, Burlingame. Contributions in Jason's memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) and the Peninsula Open Space Trust (openspacetrust.org).
