Henry Burton, 78, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014 peacefully at his home. The son of Lewis and Lillie Finch Burton, he was born November 9, 1935 in Purcell, OK. He married Lucille Harris, on February 11, 1967 at Lake Tahoe. He was a carpenter. He was a member of the Booger Hollow Tabernacle church where he enjoyed being a handyman. Henry enjoyed hunting, taking pictures of animals, four wheeling, doing mason work around his property and building decks and furniture out of wood. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lloyd Burton, Ray Burton, Gerald Burton; and one sister, Doris Vernon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years Lucille Burton of Dover; two sons, David Burton (Renee), Danny Burton (Kasandra) both of Dover; three grandsons, David Burton Jr., Danny Burton Jr., Wesley Burton; four granddaughters, Sheila Wilson, Jewell-lee Burton, Amy Montengro, Michelle Reyes; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Priscilla Vinson, Gerri Gone, Kathy Bradford; and one brother, Truman Burton.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Booger Hollow Tabernacle near Dover. Pastor Mary Ledford will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Arkansas Hospice.
