Doris Jane was born in San Joaquin County, Northern California, the 6th of 9 children born to Lewis and Lillie (Finch) Burton.
After high school Doris married and became the mother of 2 children. Doris was a life-long nurse, with most of her career spent with St. Joseph's Medical Center.
She is now in Cherokee Memorial Park, with her parents, her son Michael Ray Lawson, 2 Brothers, a Sister, and numerous other relatives.
She continues to be well loved and greatly missed!
