Paralysis proved fatal this morning to Mrs. Issis Bruce, age 56, at her home, 1201 south Madison street. She died at 11:15 o'clock after being ill since October 1, 1931. She was the wife of Elmer Bruce.
Last rites will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Clear Creek church with the Rev. Harry Bridwell and Isaac Tucker in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Clear Creek.
Other surviving relatives are as follows: Four sons, A. L., Clovis, Roy and Delmar Bruce; seven daughters, Deletha, Eloise, Bernice, Josephine, Essie, Bessie and Mrs. Arthur Cardwell; three sisters, Mrs. Ben Bruce, Mrs. Charles Babb and Mrs. Alonzo Eads; and two brothers, Harry and Orpha Nelson.

Funeral arrangements for the late Mrs. Issis Bruce, age 56, who died Tuesday morning at her home[,] 1201 south Madison street, of paralysis, have been completed, it was announced today. The services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Clear Creek church with the Rev. Harry Bridwell and Isaac Tucker in charge.
Pallbearers will be: John Eads, Jack Eads, Floyd Bruce, Lloyd Bruce, Robert Bruce and Chester Babb.
Flowerbearers will be: Mrs. Paul Sipes, Mrs. Orville McIntyre, Mrs. Don Light, Mrs. Boyd Miller, Mrs. Chester Babb and Mrs. Orrin Duncan.
The deceased was the wife of Elmer Bruce. Burial rites will be held at the Clear Creek cemetery.
