ELLSWORTH - Mark "Pudge" Edmund Harding, 54, died at home surrounded by family on September 24, 2014. A beloved father, husband, teacher, coach and friend, Mark was born March 9, 1960, in Chatham, Massachusetts. Mark was also a committed and dedicated teacher of carpentry for 12 years at the Hancock County Technical Center, where a number of his students participated in the Skills USA national program.

Marks love for people translated into years of working with the youth in the community, as he was always generous with his time. His most cherished community activities were coaching his three children's sports teams and leading Boy Scouts. Mark celebrated his children's accomplishments on and off the sports field and helped many boys with his kind and gentle manor on their Eagle Scout Projects. In the Ellsworth community he coached baseball at the middle school, as well as soccer and baseball at the YMCA.
