Mary Ellen Wiles Sweeney age 56 of Jonesville, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Saturday, April 26, 1958 and passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Middlesboro, KY at the age of 56 years. Mary had been a nurses assistant for 15 years at Chestnut Grove Nursing Home and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Merle and Lucille Benfield Wiles, brothers Jerry Benfield and James Johno Wiles.Mary is survived by one daughter Melisa Garrett of Jonesville, VA, one granddaughter Nakeisha Jade Duvall, one brother Merle Wiles of Jonesville, VA, two sisters Sue Hinkle of Jonesville, VA and Linda Schaeffer of Rose Hill, VA and several nieces and nephews.
