Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the George Belton Chapel for Virgil Arnold, 73, Belton, who died Monday, Aug. 28, 1989 at the St. Joseph Health Center.
Arnold was born in Pierre, S.D., and moved to this area in 1949. He owned A&M Painters for 15 years and retired in 1975.
Surviving are his wife, Veotta A. Arnold of the home; a son, Terry Roberts, El Cajon, Calif.; three daughters, Virgilia A. Mullin, Bolivar, Marilynn Lee, Columbia, and Lera J. McDermott, Ladue; and five grandchildren.
The body was cremated with entombment in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
