Mrs. Wilma G. "Jean" Boland, age 86 of Mountain Home passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. Wilma Boland was born January 4, 1926 in King City, Missouri to George A. and Virginia (Bailey) Arnold. She married John R. Boland November 24, 1969 in Mercer, Pennsylvania. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Boland was a Life Member of the VFW and DAV Auxiliary and a member of the local VFW Post # 3246 Color Guard. She enjoyed traveling and crocheting.

Mrs. Wilma G. Boland is survived by her husband, John Boland of the home; one son, James A. Singer (Sherri) of Crescent City, California, and 2 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Mrs. Boland will be Noon – 9 PM Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with VFW Chaplin Rita Warner officiating. Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to VFW Honor Guard Post #3246.
