Evelyn Averette Pearce, 83, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014.
She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Averette. Evelyn was a homemaker and a life-long member of Rolesville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, September 23, 2014 at Rolesville Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Randy Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery,
Evelyn is survived by her son, Kirby and wife, Terry; grandson, Kevin Jones and wife, Beca; granddaughter, Dana Jones; five great-grandchildren, Houston, Kory, Kaelin, Logan and Erin, all of Rolesville; son-in-law, Donald H. Jones and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth V. Pearce; daughter, Paula P. Jones; and by her siblings, R.A. Averette, Jr., Pauline Pearce, Euzelia Gulley, Margie Cash, and Jean Perry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rolesville Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 185, Rolesville, NC 27571.
