Emma Jean Averette Perry, 76, of Rolesville, died Tuesday afternoon, February 24, 2009, at her residence.
She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Bessie Jones Averette and Robert Alexander Averette Sr.
Jean was retired from the State of North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, was a member of Rolesville Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
The family would like to thank the heart unit nurses at Wake Medical Center and Hospice of Wake County for all of their wonderful care.
