Eleanor was on born February 18, 1915 in Holding Township, Stearns County to Michael and Mary (Kroll) Noe. She grew up on the family farm and attended country school. She married Joseph Osga on May 23, 1933 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Bowlus, MN. Eleanor lived and worked with her husband on their farm near Opole, MN for over 70 years. She was a lifelong gardener; canning, freezing, and preserving all of her fruits and vegetables. She generously shared extra raspberries and strawberries with many neighbors and family members. She was an avid jelly maker and crocheter - traits passed on to her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She catered weddings, anniversaries, and parties for over 40 years in the local area. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole and a member of Our Lady Mt. Carmel Christian Women. Eleanor is survived by daughter, two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family to pass on. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph in 2004; brothers, Edward, William, Roman, Albert, Fabian and LeRoy Noe; sisters, Theresa Bobick, Catherine Derhaag, Margaret Becker, Caroline Smekofske, Dorothy Noe, and Irene Mrosla; son-in-law, Eugene Long in 2008, and grandson James Long in 2009.
