Mrs. Emily Hill Rainey, of 2225 Carleton St., died Sunday in the General hospital.
Mrs. Rainey was born in Bond Head, Ont., and came to Calgary from Edmonton to live with her daughter, Mrs. Maude Bryant Peterson, 14 years ago.
She was a member of the Pro-Cathedral, Church of the Redeemer.
Her husband, Thomas Ferguson Rainey, died in February, 1938, in Calgary.
Mrs. Rainey is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Peterson; two brothers, T. Sheldon Hill, Huntingdon, B.C., and Walter C. Hill, Moose Jaw, Sask.
Private funeral services will be held at the residence today at 3:45 p.m. Burial will be in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.
