Monroeville
Mary Ellen (Cowan) Eamigh, of Monroeville, a child of God, left us on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, the day of Thanksgiving. Our family gives thanks to have been a part of Mum's life and to have shared our love. Mary was born Sept. 13, 1926, in Derry, a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Crusan) Cowan. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jesse; and her children, Jessie Shearer, David (Sharon) Eamigh, Rebecca (John) Domin, Charles (Kathy) Baker and Matthew (Missy) Eamigh. She is also survived by her two brothers, Eugene and James Cowan. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two sisters; three brothers; and two of her sons, John and Daniel. Mum also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, but with faith our chain will once again become whole on the day of the Resurrection. Friends were received Monday, Nov. 26, at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL and CREMATION CENTER OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (one block east of Mosside Boulevard, Route 48), where services were held Tuesday, Nov. 27, with Pastor Denny Pyles officiating. Interment followed at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. Corl Family Directors, 412-372-2100. http://www.corlfuneralchapel.com.
