Mr. Troy M. Whitson, age 92 passed away on January 14,1999. He was a member of Belview Church of Christ and retired from U.S. Steel. He was a Veteran of World War II.
Survivors: stepson, Bill Wynn and his wife, Peggy; sisters, Eunice Vun Cannon, Samlea Seaton, Delora Ray, Ida Belle McMillien; brothers, Lloyd Whitson, and James Edward Whitson.
Visitation will be Friday, January 15, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 16, at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel with Rev. Curtis Flatt and Rev. Barney Keith officiating. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery.
