HEREFORD - Georgia Sparkman Andrews, 92, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006.
Celebration of life memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Frio Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Miller of South Georgia Baptist Church and the Rev. James Peach of Frio Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery prior to the service by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.

Mrs. Andrews was born Dec. 3, 1913, in Childress to Thomas Lester Sparkman and Lora Ellen Sparkman. The family moved to the Frio community in 1917. She married Owen Andrews in 1931 in Clovis, N.M., and they raised their family in Frio.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999, and a brother, T.L. Sparkman Jr. in 2004.

Survivors include three sons, Clark Andrews of Hereford, Glen Andrews of Carthage, Mo., and Joe E. Andrews of North Dakota; two daughters, Veradelle Bruns Barrett and Frances Zetzsche, both of Amarillo; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to King's Manor Methodist Home, 400 Ranger, Hereford, TX 79045.
