"Fern (Holmes) Taylor, born Jan. 20, 1908, in Graves County, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 27, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ollie J. Taylor; great-granddaughter, Tiffany; two sisters, and a brother. She was the beloved mother of... dear grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of 17, great-great-grandmother of one. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery."
