Mary Beach, dau. of George Beach, Sr. and his 2nd wife Maria Nichols, b. Dec. 26, 1833 at Hartford, Conn. Baptized Dec. 21, 1834 at Hartford's Christ Church (Episcopal), she d. Mar. 18, 1907 at Cambridge, Mass. and was interred Mar. 20, 1907 at the White family plot at Mount Auburn, Cambridge.

Mrs. Mary Beach White. A Resident of Cambridge Forty-Five Years, and One of the City's Prominent Women.

• Mrs. Mary Beach White, the widow of John Gardner White, died yesterday at her home, 6 Phillips place, Cambridge, at the age of seventy-three. Mrs. White was another of the circle of prominent and influential women in that city, of whom a number have died since last fall. She was born in Hartford, Conn., the daughter of George Beach and Mary Nichols; for some time her father was president of the Phoenix National Bank of that city.
• In 1862 she was married to Mr. White, who was a Boston man; he died in 1896. She was a communicant at St. John's Chapel, where she had long had her church associations, her residence in Cambridge having lasted from the time of her marriage.
• In the community she was deeply interested in philanthropic enterprises and was a trustee of the Avon Club. She is survived by two sons, Francis B. White and Frederick C. White.

On June 26, 1862 at Hartford, Connecticut's Christ Church (Episcopal), Mary m. John Gardner White, the elder of twin sons of Ferdinand Elliot White and his 2nd wife Dorothy Hamilton Gardner, b. Feb. 23, 1833 at Boston, Mass. He d. Sept. 7, 1896 at Cambridge, Mass. and was interred Sept. 10, 1896 at the White family plot at Mount Auburn, Cambridge.

Mary Beach and John Gardner White had four children who are outlined in their respective memorials.
