Chris E. Wade was born March 14, 1896, the son of Leo and Hulda Wade. He died February 19 at Danville. Burial in Bone Gap cemetery. On April 10, 1920 he married Clara E. Martin of Bone Gap who died June 6, 1923. They had one daughter, Freda. Later he married Fern Putnam of Bone Gap. They had three daughters. His mother died 1927 [1928], a brother, Howard, died September 9, 1944 [1943]. He leaves his widow, four daughters. Mrs. Clyde [Freda] Litherland of Mt. Carmel, Mrs. Ray McCullough, Elnora and Norma Wade of Fairfield, Also his father and one brother Herschel of Boyleston and two sisters. Sylvia Belcher of Patoka and Clara Oldham of Springfield.
