Konopka Sr., 82, of 88 Cobb
Street, Oakville, were held
Wednesday, June 1, at 8:15 a.m.
from the O'Neill Funeral Home,
Oakville, to St. Mary Magdalen
Church, Oakville, for a Mass at 9
a.m. Burial was in Mount Olivet
Cemetery, Watertown.
Mr. Konopka died Friday,
May 27, at Waterbury Hospital.
He was born February 15,
1912, in Boston, Mass., son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam
Konopka. He lived for many years
in Massachusetts, came to Waterbury
and lived in Oakville for
many years. He worked as a
machinist for eight years at the
Wiltshire Industries of Waterbury.
He was a member of St.
Mary Magdalen Church.
He leaves three sons, Richard
Konopka of Colorado, Theodore
Konopka Jr. of Waterbury, and
Leonard Konopka of New York;
a daughter, Mrs. Lisa Johnson of
Colorado; and three grandchildren.
