Survivors include: wife, Malford Andrews Coyle; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lydia Coyle, Pat Coyle, Tim Coyle, Douglas and Renie Coyle, James Coyle; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tom Tompkins; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sister Elizabeth A. Coyle S.L.
He married his wife of 61 years, Malford Andrews, in 1944.
He saw action in Europe as a member of the 101st Airborne Division, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
Visitation and a rosary were Tuesday, Jan 31 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo. Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at St. John's Catholic Church in Hondo. Interment followed.
