Malford was born Aug. 22, 1927, in San Antonio, TX to the late Robert and Ernestine Dresch Andrews.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Coyle; brother, R. T. Andrews; and brother-in-law, George Coyle.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lydia Coyle of Victoria, Pat Coyle of Baytown, Tim Coyle of San Antonio, Douglas and Renie Coyle, James Coyle; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tom Tompkins, all of Hondo; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sister Elizabeth A. Coyle S.L. of San Antonio.
Malford graduated from Jefferson High School in San Antonio, TX. She married her husband of 61 years, John Anthony Coyle, in 1944. After WWII, John and Malford moved to Hondo, where they farmed and ranched and raised their six children. She was in the Hondo Garden Club, St. John's Altar Society, MCAEC, and a past Den Mother for Cub Scouts.
