Mrs. Cook was born in Belleville on October 16, 1884, a daughter of the late Anton and Anna Rettle, nee Hesel and married Frank Cook in Belleville May 10, 1902 (or 1903). Her husband died on July 26, 1940.

... and two grandchildren (private). A son, Francis and two children who died in infancy and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral at 2 p.m. Thursday from Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
