PELLA, IA - Artie Vander Waal, 87, of Pella died of a heart ailment Friday at her daughter's home here.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
Mrs. Vander Waal was born near Pella and lived in the Pella area all of her life. She retired from farming with her husband in 1965. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Belle Circle at her church and Black Oak Cemetery Aid.
Survivors include a daughter, Elva Doorenbos of Pella; a sister, Minnie Vos of Pella; and a brother, John Vanden Berg of Knoxville.
Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
