Bill was born in Eureka Springs,Arkansas on November 15,1927 and passd away in Kingman,Arizona on January 5,2003,after a short illness.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents,his wife Wanda,
his son,Bob,3 brothers and 2 sisters.he is survived by his son,Bill Jr.,son Rick and daughter-in-law Angie, and Jan;his sister and brother-in-law,reba and Mike Kennedy;grandchildren,Andrea and Jessica Owens;three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill served his country during World war II in the Navy,serving on submarine duty, and was in the reserves during the Korean and Vietnam wars.He was a member of the V.F.W. and Elks Club.he moved to arvin,California in 1951 with his wife and raised three children,Billy,Bob,and Rick.
Bill was a business owner in arvin for 36 years.During the 1980's he served The City of Arvin on the Planning Commission, as a City Councilman, and as the Mayor of Arvin.He retired to Kingman,Arizona in 1987 and lived there
until his death.
Services will be held at the Arvin Cemetery on Friday,January 17 at 1:00 p.m..
