From a Declaration of Intention to become a US citizen filed in Summit County Court on Nov 11, 1923 by George Falkenstein:

At age 33 George was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 168 lbs with light brown hair and blue eyes. His occupation was "blacksmith". He was born in Schuer, Russia on Nov 12, 1890 and emigrated to the United States thru the port of New York on August 2, 1923 aboard the ship SS Frankfort.

His wife's name was Mary, also born in Russia. They were living at 139 East Voris Street in Akron at time of filing. Jacob took his oath of allegiance to become a US citizen on September 9, 1929.

George and Mary Falkenstein first immigrated in 12/20/1911 to Topeka, Kansas where four children where born, Rose b. 5/25/1913, Anna Maria b. 1/22/1915, Mary M. b. 5/22/1916 and Barbara in 1918. Then moved to Frankfurt, Germany for a few years where no known children were born, then back to U.S. going to Akron, Ohio.
