Herbert D. Forrest, 86, of 747 Euclid Ave. died Jan. 24, 1986, in Manhattan Health Care Center. Memorial services were Saturday at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Racine, Wis.
Mr. Forrest was a Racine native and had lived in Jackson for more than 60 years. Before his retirement, he was associated with the Mississippi Federated Cooperatives as an accountant.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Wright Forrest; daughter, Mrs. Dred (Ann) Porter; and three grandsons and three great-grandsons.
