She seemed to be in the best of health when her husband got up to do the chores. While he was in the kitchen he heard a sort of a scream and he rushed to her bedroom and she would not answer to her name. He carried her to the front porch and she died in his arms a few minutes afterward.
She was born in the town of Berry on February 15th, 1885, and about twenty years ago, with her parents moved on the Stebbins farm about three miles west of Waunakee and on January 26th, 1909, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Kuehn and they settled on the farm where she died.
She was a true friend, and her devotion to those she loved would make a bright chapter in any life. Her retiring nature led her to hide her best qualities from public gaze, but they were revealed to those who enjoyed her acquaintance.
She leaves a husband, three sons and two daughters and many relatives to mourn her loss.
The funeral services were held at the St. John’s church here on Friday and was largely attended. Interment in St. John’s cemetery.
She was a member of the Catholic Knights and a large number of that organization lead the funeral procession.
