Mrs. Crescentia H. Mehmert, 66, died early this morning at St. Mary's Hospital. Mrs. Mehmert of Chamois had been a patient at the hospital for the past 10 days.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chamois where she was a member. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Morton Funeral Home Chapel, Linn.
Mrs. Mehmert was born June 7, 1901, at Wardsville, daughter of Fred and Catherine Schneiders Markway. On Feb. 18, 1925, she was married to Louis H. Mehmert. He survives.
Other survivors include:
Two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Rost, Morrison, Mrs. Mary Bax, Charleston, S.C.; three sons, Louis J. Mehmert and Paul J. Mehmert, both of Chamois, Leonard A. Mehmert, Belleville, Ill.
One brother, Ben Markway, Jefferson City; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie DeBroeck, and Mrs. Rose Stockman, both of Wardsville, Mrs. Lena Kolb, Jefferson City and 22 grandchildren.
